Colliers CRE Investment team advises clients on acquisitions and disposals across the UK, Europe and worldwide through our head office in London and network of regional offices. Our wide-ranging experience, coupled with detailed, research-backed market knowledge, enables us to provide high-quality advice to clients across all business sectors, locations and property types.

We work with a broad base of clients including major pension funds, life insurers, REITs, venture capitalists, high net worth individuals and property companies. Our services cover single property and portfolio sales and disposals, capital raising, acquisition advice, risk and return analysis and development funding.

Property and portfolio sales

The sales team's significant experience extends to all market sectors and covers a range of prime and secondary properties. Between us, we have successfully completed more than £1bn of portfolio sales over the past three years, with individual lot sizes ranging from £1m to £1.5bn.

We have particular expertise in raising capital for corporate occupiers, both by sale and leaseback and joint venture. In this capacity, we have advised an extensive range of occupiers, including Etam, Welcome Break, Boots, Cannons Leisure, London Inn Group, J Sainsbury, WH Smith, Barclays Bank, Homebase and JD Wetherspoon.

Acquisition advice

We have teams specialising in each of the major property sectors  high street shops, shopping centres, retail warehousing, health & fitness centres, leisure parks, cinemas, public houses, motor-trade, care homes, educational facilities, offices, industrial and logistics  as well as specialist locations like Central London. We are also widely recognised as one of the most experienced advisers on short-leasehold properties.

Our service covers all stages of the acquisition process, from the initial identification of opportunities to completion of purchase. Our advice is tailored to the individual requirements of our clients and the size and scope of the project.

Our recognition of the differing needs and aspirations of our clients, coupled with our awareness of changing working practices and technology, allows us to provide a consistently high level of service to a diverse cross section of both UK and international investors.

Development funding

Our investment team works closely with all other departments within Colliers CRE, but our particular involvement in the development process enables us to provide a comprehensive development funding service. This encompasses the initial stages of site investigation, scheme design, project management and leasing strategy, through to the most appropriate means of funding by way of interim finance, forward commitment or joint venture. Our expertise in these areas, coupled with our extensive contacts across a wide range of investors, helps to ensure the most appropriate source and method of funding is identified and secured.

Geographical spread

The main focus of our team is across the UK and Ireland  with representation in every Colliers CRE office. We also have a London-based International Investment team, which works closely with our colleagues around the world, sourcing projects for clients and handling global sales mandates.
